Zach & Sarah Bauer

LEAD PASTOR

Pastor Zach and his wife Sarah have a heart for people. Zach served on staff as the Generation pastor for 8 + years at City Church in Billings, Montana. In the fall of 2010 they felt that God was transitioning them out of youth ministry and preparing them to plant a church. January 2012 they announced that they would be planting Red Door church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota summer of 2012. The Bauer’s re-loacted along with a small team from MT to Sioux Falls and began to gather a launch team. In February 2013, Red Door church was launched.

Since 2013, Red Door church has seen many lives touched and changed. They have hosted City wide egg hunts that saw 6,000+ people in attendance, they have gathered as a church in a movie theater and a park, and in recent years they mobilized missional life groups into 5 low incomes neighborhoods to love and serve.

Zach and Sarah have three kids Kaylee, Khloe and Roman.

In 2021 Pastor Zach will be launching his book “ReThink Church” A book about unleashing the true power of the church and the lessons learned from church planting.
